The Swedish Food Agency (henceforth referred to as “the authority”) has been tasked by the Government of Sweden with developing a plan for how grain from the stockpiles being built up by the Swedish Board of Agriculture can be made available to the food supply chain. As a part of this task the authority is now evaluating potential solutions for a mobile grain processing capability intended to support national preparedness, civil defence, emergency food supply, and emergency response operations.
