Det finns verksamheter som väl använder befintlig metodik (XLPM) och verksamheter som inte har börjat använda metodiken.

För att projektmetodiken ska fungera krävs löpande utbildningar vilka ska ge en fördjupad kompetens för alla roller i uppdrag, projekt, program och portfölj.
